A poem split into three sections with digital art around the words. The first section has leaves growing from the words, rosebuds in the bottom corners, and squiggles in the top corners. The second section has alternating red and pink hearts to the left with the final bottom heart fallen and broken on the bottom. There are three roses in the top right, one yellow, orange, and red. The final section has hybrid rosebuds in the top corners and fallen, decaying rose petals all along the bottom.
Rosa chinensis

Red roses do not grow in my garden;
it takes only days for them to wilt
and be overtaken by

Yellow roses for the joy
we can find in friendship

Peach roses for how thankful
I am to have you in my life

Pink roses for sweet thoughts
I have of time we spend conversing

Orange roses for how my heart flutters
when I think of us together
But there are no red roses in my garden
for how my love will last forever
and if you give me yours they will wilt
for the way you give what I cannot

And if hybrids arise from your gift
I will not pretend they are red
